Atlanta's Arts & Entertainment Department Announces Grant Program
The Downtown Atlanta Arts & Entertainment Project (AE Atlanta) is an economic development and neighborhood activation initiative. Through the program, new outdoor media, local art, and advertising are incorporated with cultural and public space programming throughout the city. Light, vitality, and activity make A&E Atlanta a true reflection of Atlanta.
Artists and / or arts organizations working on projects in Downtown Atlanta will be eligible for grants from Arts & Entertainment Atlanta. We will award grants in the range of $500 - $1000.
Application opens: Friday, August 14, 2020 at 9:00am EST
Friday, September 11, 2020 at 5:00pm EST, is the deadline for applications
Grants will be awarded to artists and organizations by October 31, 2020 for general operations and projects that take place before May 3, 2021.
Grant Guidelines:
If an organization or artist wants to receive funding, they must show a commitment to Downtown Atlanta arts & culture.
Project-based funding is available to artists.
An organization can apply for general operations funding or funding based on a specific project.
There is a strong preference for projects located within the Arts & Entertainment Atlanta district (see district map below) to be funded by this grant. Applicants for the grant will be required to provide a letter of confirmation from a property manager or partner organization.
Funds must be allocated to organizations located in the district or with a proven commitment to the area. (see district map)
The A&E logo will appear on the sponsor page of their website, onsite (on the sponsor wall or window), and on all collateral associated with their grant application.
